Where Does Your Research Belong?

Every submission is allocated to a SINGLE track. Select the category that best aligns with your work.

Cross Faculty Thematic Panels

Alongside the paper tracks, six thematic panels run through both days. Each is curated jointly by the three faculties and brings an invited expert panel into conversation with delegates. Where the tracks gather research, the panels test it against practice, policy and industry.

Panel 1. Policy, Skills and the Creative Economy: Turning Curriculum into Capability

Day one · 22 January 2027

Where creative education meets national policy. The panel takes the multidisciplinary mandate of NEP 2020, the entry of Indian Knowledge Systems into the curriculum, national skill standards and craft livelihoods, public educational media, and sets them against what employers actually ask of a creative graduate. Design brings the stake in skills, craft to industry pipelines and employability. Liberal Arts brings policy, governance, ethics and the knowledge systems question. Fine Arts brings arts education, cultural institutions and the livelihood of the practising artist.

Panel 2. The Machine in the Studio: Authorship, Ethics and Creative Education

Day two · 23 January 2027

What artificial intelligence is doing to the three things a creative faculty exists to protect: authorship, judgement and the apprenticeship that produces both. The panel moves from the making of the artefact to the teaching of the maker, and on to the question of ownership that neither law nor pedagogy has yet settled. Design asks what remains of the brief when generation is cheap. Fine Arts asks what authorship means when the hand is optional. Liberal Arts asks who carries the ethical and legal weight of the result.
